Retail Rocket

Playground
Retail Rocket had outgrown its own image. Born as a product recommendation engine, it had evolved into a full retention management platform — four AI-powered modules covering data, personalization, customer intelligence and campaign management — serving 1,000+ e-commerce brands worldwide. But the brand and product experience still told the old story: a "recommendation widget," not a strategic retention partner. The challenge was to realign perception with reality — clarify what the platform had become, unify a fragmented experience across modules, and give sales, marketing and product teams a single, coherent narrative to build on.

The vision
The vision work started from a simple belief shared across the company: marketing should be useful — for the marketer who runs it, for the business that pays for it, and for the customer who receives it. We translated this into three guiding values: Clarity (make enterprise-grade AI feel simple and accessible, not intimidating), Performance (every design decision serves measurable retention outcomes — LTV, repeat purchases), and Partnership (the platform behaves like a teammate, not a black box). These values became the filter for every brand, UX and product decision that followed.

Positioning
We positioned Retail Rocket as the all-in-one Retention Management Platform — deliberately shifting the conversation away from "personalization tools" (a crowded, feature-level battlefield) toward retention as a business discipline. Where competitors sell point solutions, Retail Rocket owns the full retention lifecycle: from first purchase to loyal customer. The performance-based pricing model reinforced the promise: we only win when our clients do.
